A Guide to the Emery Ann Wedding Collection

A Guide to Emery Ann Wedding Collection

I have designed the Emery Ann Wedding Collection to feature a range of wedding stationery in styles from classic & traditional, watercolor invitation designs, monograms & crest, and modern styles.

Ordering Process

I have made the process as easy as possible with the Emery Ann Wedding Collection Guide to help you know exactly what to expect.  And before you know it, you will have a high quality, beautiful wedding suite in your hands to send to your wedding guests!

Begin by perusing through the invitation suites and find the one that speaks to your aesthetic and overall feel of your wedding day.  Each collection style includes Save the Dates, Wedding Invitation Suites, additional cards, and I can create all your day-of paper and correspondence as well to keep your wedding day cohesive.

Step 1

You found a favorite! Let’s make it yours. Add your pieces to your cart and submit your order!

Step 2

You will receive an email with a form for you to fill out for your wedding invitation wording and wedding color options. I need these forms as complete and accurate as possible. That means proofs will be ready for you much sooner!

Step 3

Once your form has been submitted, I will begin working on your wedding stationery beginning with your wording and etiquette. If I have any questions about your order, I’ll will follow up with a call. If not, you’ll hear from me within 7 business days of receiving your details form with a digital proof of the pieces you’ve ordered. Your proof will include all pieces from your order.

Step 4

You’ll have 48 hours after receiving your initial digital proof to respond with any adjustments. You’ll have two (free!) chances to do this. Once you have approved, your pieces will be prepared for printing. We’ll package and ship your finished pieces, and notify you with shipping information.

Print Methods

Emery Ann Wedding Collection gives you the option to choose the printing style that best fits your overall esthetic of your wedding day.  Choose from one of the three printing methods below.

Digital or Flat Printing

Digital Printing prints smoothly to the paper, with no raised or indented impression. If you run your fingers over it, you’ll only feel the slight texture of the paper itself. Digital printing is also known as Flat Printing.  This design is printed on single ply, warm white.

Letterpress begins with a plate created of your design and ink mixed to your color. Your custom plate is then inked with your color and then pressed into 100% cotton paper. The combination of cotton paper and the impression of your design leaves a beautiful, luxurious piece.  This design is pressed into double thick, warm white Crane’s Lettra Cotton Paper.

Foil Stamping

Foil Stamping starts with a metal plate created of your design. It is heated up and then pressed into a sheet of metallic foil and then into your paper. You can feel the impression and the shiny metallic foil.  This design is gold foil pressed and digitally printed on double thick, bright white paper.

Our Paper Options

Each printing method uses the best possible paper for that method – matte eggshell for digital and foil stamping and cotton for letterpress.  Both paper types are available in single and double thickness.

Paper Weight

When placing your order, you will select your paper weight by using the drop down section for paper weight.  Single ply is a substantial, 120 pound paper shown on the top left. Double ply is 240 pound, twice the thickness of single ply shown on the bottom right. When choosing the paper weight, it is truly a personal preference, however, I do love foil stamping and letterpress on the double thickness options.

Paper Color

You will select your preference of paper color in the form I send you after placing your order.  I offer two colors, bright white and warm white. Bright white is a true bright white and shown on the left, while warm white is a soft off-white, not a yellow-y, ecru paper and shown on the right.  Both hold ink color extremely well, and your envelopes will match your paper color unless upgrading to a colored envelope.

Ink Selections

Each printing method uses the best possible paper for that method – matte eggshell for digital and foil stamping and cotton for letterpress.  Both paper types are available in single and double thickness.

Please note, colors may not print as they are seen on screen.

Embellishments & Extra Details

Embellishments are a way to truly customize your wedding invitation suite or save the date with details such as envelope addressing, envelope liners, wax seals, ribbons, vellum wraps, laser cut items, and more!  These can be found on the Embellishments Page.
