timeless stationery

Have you ever noticed that wedding days flow better with thoughtful stationery?

I believe it should welcome guests, set the tone, and tell your story with ease.

Every piece has a purpose—your invitations build anticipation, your menus guide the reception, your programs honor the ceremony. Together, they create a seamless thread that grounds your day in beauty and intention.

From the Classroom to Custom Stationery: A Story of Care, Creativity, and Celebration

Before Emery Ann Design, I was a fourth-grade teacher—guiding little hands through big ideas, balancing structure with creativity, and finding joy in the smallest details.

When my daughter was born, I realized I couldn’t give my best to both my classroom and my family. Stepping away was bittersweet, but it opened the door to something new: transforming a quiet love of design into a calling that still allows me to serve with patience, creativity, and care.

Guiding you through a calm, thoughtful process

What began as sketches during naptime has grown into Emery Ann Design, a Chicago-based studio rooted in artistry, service, and timeless design.

Today, I have the privilege of guiding couples through a calm, thoughtful process—creating custom wedding invitations and full event stationery that not only welcome their guests but also capture the beauty and meaning of their wedding day.

Each piece is crafted with intention, a reflection of your love, and a keepsake for years to come.

If you're Nicole, who is Emery Ann?

Well, it’s more of a feeling.  Emery Ann is a nod to my grandparents, Dwight Emery and Patricia Ann, who always made people feel warm and welcomed.  As hosts for events, holidays and just day to day, they spent their 55 years of marriage making friends, family and everyone feel extra special through their warmth and love.

I bring that same feeling of love to you and your guests through the design of beautiful wedding paper goods.
